Vinification
This 2007 vintage is a very good year for the Douro Region. Developed from traditional grapes in the region.
Aged in oak barrels for a period of 2 to 3 years followed by bottle aging.
Taste
Dark red, almost black vintage. Fruity and aromatic nose.
This vintage is medium bodied, still young with imposing tannins. Fruity on the palate. Long finish. Ready to drink now but can also be cellared for a few years.
Cocktails and pairings
Excellent with desserts consisting primarily of chocolate, berries, strawberries or raspberries. Perfect for serving with strong cheeses.
